10th-placed Levante will be looking for their 1st away win of the season on Friday when they travel to Espanyol, currently 14th in the table on 8 points, just 1 point behind their visitors.
After a bright unbeaten start to the campaign (W2 D3), Levante ended September with back-to-back defeats to Betis and Alaves.
Espanyol have won 6 of their 11 home top-flight encounters with Levante, who recorded their only win in February ‘12.
These games are often tight affairs. Incredibly, neither side has managed to beat the other by more than 1 goal in any of their previous league clashes at Cornella-El Prat.
The most common scoreline from Levante’s trips to Espanyol is 2-1, which has been recorded 6 times in all competitions, 5 of them in the hosts’ favour.
